The temperature dipped far below normal starting in the beginning of January and has varied between 20 below zero and about eight above most of the time since until the last two days. While it is not unusual for her to be cold this far north, and unbroken streak of arctic air for over a month is uncommonly harsh. On the other hand all the more joy to feel in greeting signs of spring! I always appreciate you checking in.

This coming Monday we’re supposed to get above freezing for the first time since January 13. Hooray doesn’t really cover it but it’ll do for now. LOL
